Louise joined RPIA in September 2019 and is a Principal and the Head of Credit Research.
Louise brings to the firm deep expertise in analyzing global financial institutions as well as excellent relationships with issuers, investors, and regulators globally. She spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs in London and New York and had been a Managing Director there since 2005. Covering Global Financial Institutions both from the publishing and desk analyst perspective, she has a special bond to the European Financial sectors, which she began covering in 1998. Louise began her career in London at JP Morgan in a trading role before moving to research and then transitioning to Credit Suisse as the Senior Analyst covering European Financial institutions.
Louise is one of the most respected analysts in her field among issuers, investors, and regulators globally and will continue to cover these sectors at RPIA, in addition to overseeing seven credit analysts who make up RPIA's research team. In addition, Louise joined the board of The Credit Roundtable in December 2020, taking on the role of Secretary in her first week on the board, and is excited to join her buy-side colleagues in driving change and collaboration across the investing community in North America.
Louise is a British citizen, has a home in Spain, and has a B.A. (Hons) degree in Hispanic and Latin American Studies from the University of Bristol. She is a board member and the former Chair of the Board of Music for Autism in the US and is also a member of the Advisory Board of the IBP Institute.
