Daniel is a software architect at RPIA. He focuses on designing and leading the development of software products that are integral to RPIA's portfolio performance and client strategies. With a mission to create home-grown artificial intelligence for the fixed-income market, Daniel drives technology innovation within the firm. As the first software engineer that joined RPIA from a technology discipline, Daniel provides mentorship to the numerous engineers that come after him.
With an entrepreneurial root from the University of Toronto's applied research in computer science, Daniel brings innovative thinking and passion for creating business value to the technology team. He co-founded a B2B startup that uses knowledge graph technology for data intelligence. He joined RPIA from HomeDepot's e-commerce group, where he led software engineering teams at scale.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where he double-majored in computer science and economics. Daniel remains an active member of the Canadian entrepreneur community and the global knowledge graph community.
