Amplifying Our Diverse Voices

Our culture is defined by our five core values: excellence, partnership, transparency, integrity, and community. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and our aim is to empower them to both individually and collectively use their voices to embody these values within our firm, through our work, and in our communities. Our shared values unite us with the common goal of putting our investors at the forefront of everything we do. Every year, we publish our employee magazine, Voices of RPIA, highlighting the meaningful contributions of our team and how each individual plays a unique role in developing our organizational culture.

As of 2022, RPIA is certified as a Great Place To Work in Canada based on the feedback given by 94% of the firm about our culture and work environment.

Mentorship Program

Our annual mentorship program offers both junior and mid-tier professionals to benefit from the wisdom and expertise of our seasoned leaders. The program’s aim is to nurture individual growth, enrich inter-departmental collaboration, and foster a tight-knit community spirit.

Allyship & Community Outreach

Through monthly sessions and activities led by our dedicated team, we aim to enrich our understanding and actions in the sphere of inclusive thinking, both at work and in our daily lives. Upholding RPIA’s inherent culture of community contribution, all employees are strongly encouraged to partake in our Allyship activities.

Elevating Our Capabilities

Designed with a collaborative and comprehensive curriculum, our Empathetic Leadership training workshops help nurture leadership potential and bolster managerial expertise. High-potential team members also have the opportunity to participate in Strategy Teams, which are designed to promote cross-functional collaborations to further our strategic goals.

Staying Connected

Building a "Connected Community" is important to us. We do this through our monthly employee newsletter, the RP RoundUp, our Social Committee's events that cater to diverse interests and foster a culture of inclusion, and our monthly town halls, where the whole firm comes together to hear updates and celebrate our collective wins.

Quote by Dannielle Ullrich

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and open workplace where our employees can develop themselves professionally and personally and become passionate leaders for the causes that matter to them. Our employee engagement programs are guided by our four LEAD pillars:

LEADERSHIP  |  EMPATHY  |  ACCOUNTABILITY  |  DEVELOPMENT

Political Activities & Engagement

RPIA is committed to the informed participation of its employees in the political process and to open and honest debate.

Our employees are welcome to participate in political activities on their own time and in accordance with their individual desires and political preferences and not as a representative of RPIA. They are also expected to conduct any political activities respectfully and in good faith.

Our Code of Conduct guides us in all that we do. The Code, which is grounded in our company's values, provides basic guidelines of professional and personal conduct that all employees are expected to adopt and uphold.

Our Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, RPIA acknowledges that our offices are on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Haudenosaunee, the Wendat, the Anishnaabek, and the Mississaugas of the Credit, and this land is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We gratefully acknowledge these Indigenous nations for their guardianship of this land. We'd also like to remind and reaffirm, as Torontonians and Canadians, our accountability to these Indigenous nations and to all Indigenous peoples and communities living in Toronto.

This land is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. Toronto is also part of the Dish with One Spoon Territory and Treaty between the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabek, and Mississaugas, to peaceably share and care for the land and waters in the Great Lakes region. All those who come to work here are responsible for honouring this treaty in the spirit of peace, friendship, and respect.
