Chris joined RPIA in January 2026 as Director of Software Engineering. In his role, he leads the engineering vision and drives the execution of the firm's technology roadmap, delivering complex, bespoke solutions for fixed income trading that support the firm's continued growth and innovation.

Chris brings over 7 years of combined experience in software engineering and engineering leadership. His expertise spans modern AI and machine learning technologies, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, inference optimization, fine-tuning, AI-driven programming, and orchestration frameworks. Prior to joining RPIA, Chris served as a Software Development Manager at Amazon, where he led a team of 12 engineers that owned the data layer of Customer Service. The platform handled over one billion requests per day across 110 countries, operating at 99.99% availability.

Chris holds a degree in Computer Science, specializing in Software Engineering, from the University of Toronto. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing board games with his family.
