Katrina joined RPIA in May 2024 as an AI Researcher Intern. In her current role as Manager, Quantitative Researcher, she focuses on building and refining ML-driven tools that enhance investment decision-making and portfolio strategies.

Prior to joining RPIA, Katrina held data science and big data engineering roles at Mininglamp and Citi Group, where she applied advanced analytics and machine-learning techniques to support business objectives across diverse industry clients.

Katrina has a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Waterloo. Her doctoral research focuses on developing graph-based and contrastive learning approaches for anomaly detection.
