Liam leads RPIA’s client and distribution strategy and is responsible for driving growth across institutional, retail, and private client markets. His role focuses on expanding and deepening strategic client relationships, shaping the firm’s distribution priorities, and ensuring RPIA’s investment capabilities are clearly positioned to meet the needs of clients, consultants, platforms, and other key partners.
Liam brings a strong investment background to his client leadership role, having previously spent several years managing corporate bond portfolios at RPIA. This experience allows him to connect the firm’s investment expertise with client objectives and market opportunities in a practical, commercially relevant way. Prior to joining RPIA in 2010, Liam was Chief Risk Officer at a global hedge fund in London, UK.
Liam holds a Master’s in PPE from New College, Oxford, and a Master’s in Economics from the University of British Columbia, where he was a Commonwealth Scholar. He is a CFA Charterholder and serves on the Finance and Audit Committee of Massey College at the University of Toronto. Liam has served several terms on the Executive Committee of AIMA Canada and is currently its Chair.
