Spencer Brannon joined RPIA in 2021, and is currently a Portfolio Manager on the Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on high yield, leveraged loans, emerging markets, special situation equity, and SPAC investment opportunities. 

 

Prior to joining RPIA, Spencer was a desk analyst at HSBC in New York City, covering crossover credit in developed and emerging markets across the Americas. Before HSBC, he was the sixth generation in his family to start his own business. 

 

Spencer holds a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Business Economics from Wright State University, where he graduated with Latin honors. Outside the office, Spencer is an avid traveler, having visited more than seventy countries, and he enjoys surfing and scuba diving.
