Tatenda joined the Investment Team in 2024 as a Portfolio Manager on the Credit Research team, responsible for covering Energy, Power and Utilities, Metals & Mining, and Chemicals.

Prior to joining RPIA, Tatenda worked as Vice President of Fixed Income at Gluskin Sheff where he was responsible for covering the Energy, Utilities, Industrials, Metals & Mining sectors. Before that, he was a Senior Credit Analyst on the Global Fixed Income team at CIBC Asset Management, an Associate Director on the North America Energy Infrastructure team at S&P Global Ratings and also held various roles in mid-market banking at KeyBank.

Tatenda is a CFA® charter-holder and holds a Master of Finance degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine at Machias. He enjoys spending time with family, barbecuing, hiking, running, and playing and coaching soccer.
