Uzma joined the Credit Research Team in 2026 as a Portfolio Manager, where she covers the technology and telecom sectors across investment grade and high yield credit.

Prior to joining RPIA, Uzma was a Senior Credit Analyst on the Fixed Income team at CIBC Asset Management, covering North American investment grade and high yield credit in the Midstream and Utilities sectors. Before that, she spent over seven years at Guardian Capital as a Credit Analyst, covering a range of large, non-bank investment grade sectors. Earlier in her career, Uzma also worked as an Equity Analyst in both buy- and sell-side research roles.

Uzma holds a Master of Finance from the Rotman School of Management and is a CFA charterholder.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading biographies and traveling.
