Associate, Salesforce Reporting

Full Time | Toronto

Responsibilities

  • Sales Dashboards: Creates and maintains dashboards for RPIA’s three sales channels: Private Investors, Institutions, and Retail Advisors to help track trends and metrics over time.
  • Sales Reports: Generates routine and ad-hoc reports for client-facing teams, covering various requirements to support sales, servicing, and marketing decision-making and insights.
  • Executive Dashboard: Prepares dashboards for senior leaders to support strategic planning and forecasts for client-facing initiatives and people management.
  • Marketing Integration: Builds dashboards and reports to automate marketing analytics and integrate with CRM data. Generates ROI reports for marketing campaigns to track effectiveness.
  • Data Optimization: Runs daily control reports to ensure the data quality and optimization of the CRM and all connected reports and dashboards.
  • User Stories: Gathers requirements and produces detailed, feasible user stories to guide the development of new features and enhancements for the CRM for all users and sales channels.
  • Project Management: Supports and project manages the development of new features and enhancements to the CRM, coordinating with external vendors to optimize relevant reporting.
  • Sales Support: Other roles and responsibilities related to managing the CRM and sales reporting.

Critical Competencies

  • Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and CRM Analytics (CRMA), and managing multiple types of client data structures.
  • Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills to collaborate effectively with a variety of internal stakeholders, understanding their requirements and writing detailed user stories.
  • Project Management – Excellent organizational skills to streamline enhancement and development projects relating to the CRM, ensuring buy-in and on-time deliverables from stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Problem Solving – A solutions-oriented mindset paired with excellent analytical to solve problems thoughtfully and efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail – Exceptional attention to detail in delivering requirements to business users and managing ongoing enhancements to the specifications of business leaders.
  • Analytical Skills – The ability to decipher data structures, dependencies, and requirements to produce clean, well-sourced, and logically displayed reports.
  • Collaboration – Strong aptitude for working closely with senior executives and business development teams.
  • Business Acumen – Robust understanding of the business purpose and value of each request to intuitively add value through insightful outputs.
  • Initiative – Proactively identify the needs of the sales, client service, and marketing teams to equip the client teams with useful insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience working as a Business Analyst or similar. 
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics is mandatory; experience with Financial Services Cloud is an asset.
  • Proven experience in handling financial services sales data, upholding all best practices
  • Strong understanding of financial services and related Salesforce solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bilingual in English and French is preferred.
