Manager - People & Culture

Full Time | Toronto

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Lead full-cycle recruitment activities across the firm, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate management, offer coordination, and onboarding. Partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and deliver a positive candidate experience aligned with RPIA’s culture and values.
  • Talent Management & Learning: Support and coordinate firm-wide talent initiatives across onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and career development programs. Assist in the execution of leadership development, mentorship, and training initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and support employee growth.
  • Executive & Operational Support: Act as a key support partner to the CPO by assisting with meeting coordination, agenda development, presentation materials, follow-up on action items, and broader People & Culture operations. Support leadership meetings, offsites, and annual planning activities to ensure effective execution and alignment across priorities.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, employees, executive assistants, external partners, and candidates. Serve as a central point of coordination for talent and People & Culture-related initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with the CPO and business leaders to support talent priorities and people-related initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Provide practical, hands-on support related to recruitment, employee development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Employee Experience & Culture: Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, learning, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture. Assist with internal communications and People & Culture programs that reinforce RPIA’s values and employee experience.
  • Project Coordination & Firm-Wide Initiatives: Support cyclical and strategic People & Culture initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration, including annual talent processes, learning programs, recruitment initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  • HR Operations & Governance: Assist in maintaining alignment between HR programs, policies, and operational practices with business objectives and firm standards. Support reporting, documentation, and administrative processes while ensuring a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting: Support the development and maintenance of HR metrics, reporting, and workforce analytics to provide insight into recruitment activity, talent trends, employee engagement, turnover, and organizational effectiveness. Partner with the CPO and business leaders to support data-driven decision-making, workforce planning, and talent strategy initiatives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, or Human Resources operations.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams, and/or partner groups.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or asset management preferred.

  • Compensation Range: $110,000–$130,000 base salary; additional compensation may be available.
