Responsibilities

  • Product Launch Management (Primary Focus)
    • Support the firm's product launch initiatives across separately managed accounts, public mutual funds, and private pooled funds.
    • Act as the central coordinator for new product launches, partnering with Business Development, Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and external service providers.
    • Develop and maintain launch plans, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder responsibilities.
    • Identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful execution.
    • Drive continuous improvement of the product launch process and governance framework.
    • Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership on launch initiatives and priorities.
  • Projects & Business Solutions (Secondary Focus)
    • Support business and technology initiatives across the organization.
    • Promote project management best practices and governance standards established by the PMO.
    • Facilitate project planning, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination as needed.
    • Support initiative prioritization, resource planning, and status reporting.

  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing deadlines.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and service-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships across business and technology teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within asset management, wealth management, or another investment management environment.
  • Experience managing investment product launches or leading complex cross-functional business initiatives within an investment management organization.
  • Experience in one or more business functions supporting investment management, such as Operations, Business Development, or Client Service
  • Strong understanding of investment products and the operational processes that support Experience with mutual funds, private pooled funds, separately managed accounts, and fixed income products is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with project management and business analysis methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Calypso is an asset.
