About the RPIA ACE Program


The RPIA ACE Program stands for Academic & Community Empowerment and aims to provide a wealth of opportunities to disenfranchised groups either through academic or community-driven initiatives. The program strives to support the next generation of leaders from all backgrounds in Canada through scholarships, internships, and mentorship. As a firm, we are committed to empowering and nurturing the potential in our community and doing our part to improve access to the industry in which we operate.

The RPIA ACE Scholarship Program

 

Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto

RPIA ACE Scholarship in Rotman Commerce

 

$5,000 per year for a non-renewable expendable scholarship awarded to an upper-year student who self-identifies as either Black or Indigenous to Canada in the Rotman Commerce Program at the University of Toronto.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You self-identify as Black or Indigenous to Canada
  • You are a permanent resident or citizen of Canada
  • You are an upper-year student in Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto
  • You maintain good academic standing in your program
  • Although not required, preference is given to students with an interest and/or completed coursework in Finance

RPIA ACE Finance Award for BIPOC Students

 

$5,000 per year for a non-renewable expendable scholarship awarded to a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student who self-identifies as either Black or Indigenous to Canada.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You self-identify as Black or Indigenous to Canada
  • You are a third or fourth-year student in an undergraduate program at the University of Victoria
  • You are interested in pursuing a career in the finance industry
  • You maintain good academic standing in your program (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need

Schulich School of Business, York University

RPIA ACE Scholarship for Women in MFin

 

$5,000 CAD per year for a non-renewable scholarship for a second-year full-time female MBA student at the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You are a second-year, full-time MBA female student who has an area of specialization in Finance
  • You demonstrate academic excellence (GPA of 8 or A) or top academic performance in comparison to peers
  • Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need
  • Applicants will be asked to submit a one-page essay detailing their career goals and explaining how an MBA will contribute to their endeavors
